Mia Vilcins

Mia creates a contemporary cabinet of curiosities, using a variety of materials and techniques, including metalsmithing, stone carving, embroidery, recycled materials, and assemblage.

The results are wearable jewellery and small sculptures.

With an essence of nostalgia enjoyed through the wonder of old toys and collected marvels, Mia’s work is playful, whimsical, and detailed, each with their own story to tell.

Mia graduated from the Royal College of Art with a masters in Jewellery & Metal, and studied at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, gaining a BA in Fashion Jewellery.

Alongside her creations, Mia also works as a tutor, teaching others the skills of jewellery making and design.
