We are excited to host this month's Makers' Club by Makerhood at Hotel Elephant!

In this world of ever-increasing visual sophistication, artists and makers are aware of the importance of good product shots yet often struggle to get them right. Even if we can afford to employ a professional photographer for our key images of the year, it is likely that we will need new shots to add to our image library on a regular basis, often just with the help of a phone camera. In this session, artist, photographer and Makerhood Director Jonathan Dredge will share his tips on how to achieve successful product shots with minimum equipment and maximum skill.

Jonny comes from a professional background in broadcasting and visual effects. Being also an artist, he has masses of experience from both sides of the lens. Jonny is part of Modern Eccentrics, a crafting and artistic collaboration created with his partner. Having originally studied car design and subsequently television systems, he has, amongst other things, taught for Apple, edited commercials and promos, worked as a freelance photographer and run bookshops.
