In this interactive workshop you will learn about the fundamental building blocks of the Intellectual Property (IP) system and how the can be used in the creative industries.  Facilitated by an IP expert, this game-based approach puts you in control.  By running a fictional business you will learn about the six main intellectual property rights and as you meet various challenges along the way you will discover when IP rights are helpful and when they are not. 

The aim of the workshop is to:

•           Understand all types of intellectual property rights and their cost.

•           Learn about the strategic use of IP.

•           Be able to recognise what is protectable.

•           Know where to look for further help.
