Our Spare Street Studios are located within a series of refurbished railway arches just a 3-minute walk from Elephant & Castle station. The studios are suited to artists, makers, designers, creative businesses, and startups, with spaces available for both "quiet & clean" and "noisy & messy" working practices.
The studios support a wide range of activities, including painting, sculpture, textiles, design, fabrication, product development, prototyping, electronics projects, and other creative and technical work. Spare Street provides an affordable, flexible workspace where members can design, make, prototype, test, and develop projects within a supportive creative community.

The studios support a wide variety of creative practices, including painting, sculpture, textiles, design, photography, prop making, set design, model making, production design, and other creative and professional activities.
