Chantal has been primarily focused on costume design since 2014 and has had the opportunity to work in various locations across Western Canada such as Vancouver, Chemainus, Prince George, and Banff. She has also worked as an Assistant Design contractor at the well-known Stratford Theatre Festival just outside of Toronto. She has enjoyed working in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Essex, and London in the UK. She has experience teaching sewing to different age groups and is a confident stitcher and design assistant. Chantal has dabbled in various textile crafts, including fabric painting, leatherwork, and upholstery, and is always eager to try new kinds of hands-on art practices.

Her design work is focused on storytelling and she enjoys building characters through dress with collaborators. She has a keen interest in 20th-century fashion, especially the 1920s, 30s, and 70s, playing with gender, provocative subcultures, and the intersection of fashion and music. She likes to work on contemporary and challenging projects. Chantal is an explorer at heart and is excited to travel more in the future for theatre work.
